TANZANIA



Questions:

1. Tanzania is one of the poorest countries in the world, and its economy is highly dependent on mining. Based on your understanding, do you consider that this activity improves or worsens economic conditions? Why?

2. If you were the president of Tanzania, what steps would you take to overcome the problems of malnutrition and chronic hunger?

3.In Tanzania, there are many beliefs about death. For example, they believe in life after death and that is why people should be buried properly. Do you believe in life after death? Justify your answer.

  1. 1) That Improves The Economic Conditions. Because The Diamonds The Gold Silver Copper Are Very Expensive Materials And They Can Sell Those Materials To Improve The Economy.
    2) First I Try To Commercialize The Minerals With Other Countries
    Second I Come To An Agreement With Another Country If They Can Support Us With The Transportation Of The Food
    3) I Believe That. Because When One Person Die His/Her Soul Still Live And Their Souls Are Transfering To Another Person That Will Beer.

  2. 1. it is a difficult question. I think that mining doesn't improve the economy because Tanzania depends of it and it is a poor country so that activity only helps to survive.
    2. First I would to provide people with seeds. after I would teach how to plant some vegetables in houses and how to prepare healthy food with that ingredients (educations programs. Obviously that programs include refreshments) so the people would be responsible for their feeding and i don't keep them for ever.
    3. No, I don't believe in life after death because I have never seen or felt anyone return.

  3. 1. I think that mining does not improve the economy because the explorers are surely foreign companies. This companies obtain the mineral and make the profits too. The country only have the environmental problems.
    2. I would invest in nutritional health programs. I would put high taxes to foreign companies to obtain
    money.
    3. I belive something happen after dead but as Vanesa said anyone returned to tell us about.

  4. 1. I think mining improves economic and social conditions of survival of the country but worsening environmental conditions.
    2. I as president would implement nutrition programs for the poorest families,this with the help of other countries more developed.
    I also would create well-paid jobs for parents to feed their families.
    3. I think that when a person dies the body decays and the soul is wandering until reincarnated in another body. The people do not remember his previous life.

  6. 1. In my understanding, mining does not improve economy, it does not improve social conditions, not to mention environmental conditions. I have always thought that foreing big companies are who win the real profits in those countries. They do not pay fairly to their employes. They do not care enviromental conditions and they do not respond for damages. It is a big business for big companies.
    2. As a president of Tanzania, my first command will be to finance research groups in the agriculture faculties. I will develope an institutional program to help the poorest families in Tanzania.
    3. I like to think that there is just one life. Body and mind are just one. There is not soul. We die and that is all.

  7. 1. Poor countries have problems, the most important is the mandatory, monarcy, democracy... if the country have bad boss.. the country will be poor
    2. I will make a method to increases the tourism and the profits.
    3. Im not sure about that, is posible live in death

  8. 1- The problem is not the economic activity. The problem is... What is the goverment doing with the money. Every country is able to improve but the goverment has to do the right.

    2-I will negotiate with the food industry a deal where both will be beneficts.

    3-I do not believe in the life before death but I think If you were important and do the difference. You will be remenbered.

    2. Like I said before. If I would be the president of Tanzania I will speak with another presidents to get support of food for whole population.
    3. Yes, I believe in life after of death because I think that this life is a challenge and one training for the nexth life.

  10. 1. I don't believe that mining be the best option for survivor so I think that worsens economic conditions, because when people do mining is just only a damage for the nature and the conditions for do it are not the best
    2. If I were the president of Tanzania, I try to find humanitarian aid and investing more money in the healthy and nutrition of the people
    3. I do not believe in life after death because we have only one life and we don't have proofs about that

    2. First I will control the valuation of birthrate then I will focus in health politics.

  12. 1. I think the worst enemy of the people there is the government, the mining does not worsens the economy the resouses are stolen from the people and they just get the crumbs of this.
    2. First of all I would not beneficiate of the mining and keep all the money of it just for myself and I would give the resouses to improve the problem.
    3. I is an interesting cuestion. Well I think the there are a lot of believes about this kind of topic, in some places the people believe in reencarnation and others in paradise, I think in something a little different in my point of view all the people have a mortal body, obviously, but inside of us there is energy if we see the physical laws the energy can not be create and can not be destroyed it transforms. Following this thinking our physical body can die but the energy inside of us transforms itself and it could be another way of life.
